Fibar Footing

Fibar footing is one of the most comfortable horse arena footing surfaces for all types of applications. Indoor arenas, outdoor arenas, breeding farms, racing tracks, and gallop training arenas laid out with fibar footing had been providing more protection to the equine friends. Fibar contains fine wooden fibers prepared from virgin wood. It is common knowledge that ordinary equine arena footing surfaces are slowly eroded when exposed to rain and sun alternatively. The heat of the sun disintegrates the silica sand further and the rain water drains it away continuously. The carefully prepared horse training surface becomes thinner as well as harder in a very short time. The horses are exposed to high risk of injuries from concussions and shocks. The muscles, ligaments and bones are strained seriously. The mood and attitude of the horses remain sound and positive.

Virtually no dust is generated in properly designed horse footing arenas by using fibar footing wood fiber materials. The water drainage is perfect in well laid out wood fiber surfaces. Fibers knit together easily, getting overlaid one on another, so that a stable footing is created. Hence, there is no stoppage of training even in rainy season. Similarly, severe summer heat also generates only a very low or negligible amount of dust. The consistency of the surface does not decrease even under the feet of several horses pounding incessantly. It holds up much better than other conventional equine arena surfaces. The natural traction and bounce provided by fibar footing arena surfaces is considered the highest among contemporary products.
